Yesterday I visited an open house in Arlington that clearly belonged to two movie buffs. The house itself was very cute but the basement was outfitted as a movie theater (complete with purple and brown VELVET wallcovering) and some framed displays of movie collectibles. I had to snap pictures on my camera because it was just beyond bizarre. I would highly recommend taking anything unique like this off the walls before you put your house on the market because if it was distracting to me I can only imagine a buyer's reaction!
