I have friends and clients who are volunteering this year at a Girls Rock!DC, a week-long camp that helps young girls build self confidence and learn about music. The campers have a showcase at the 9:30 club from 11-1 on Saturday August 14th. For $10 you get to see a fun show (it's certainly going to be more exciting than my summer camp's talent show!), check out what the 9:30 club looks like in daylight, and support a great cause.
